  • 0940   p2     Heritage  – Remembrance Day – Flander’s Field.  Listen the poem and story behind the poem.  Students to stand for a minutes silence at 1100, because RD is Sunday.

  • 1130   p4    Integrated Studies –  Civics – Revision of Australian Government beginning with the early governors of New South Wales: Phillip (1788-92), Hunter (1795-1800), King (1800-06), Bligh (1806-08), Macquarie (1810-21), Brisbane (1821-25), Darling (1825-31), Bourke (1831-37).  The students also are to realise that at this point in Australia’s history, most of Australia was considered NSW, and that the various colonies grew out of NSW.  They have been given a series of maps of the continent of Australia showing the changing colonial boundaries.

  • 1340   p6   Integrated Studies Tony – How parliament works in Australia. Students explore a graphical illustration of government from the local level through to state, through to federal, through to the monarch.
